Forming this kind of collaboration from the beginning is really wonderful to see between RIDOH and Medicaid, AEs, primary care practices, community health teams, and community residents with lived experience of inequities

There are a number two free clinics in the providence area. How might they participate in this?
Megan Fallon
01:01:10
Sorry, for the typo in my question. Friday :)

01:01:39
There are pending awards for new HEZs. Could a new HEZ (to be awarded in April) apply and can two HEZs witth he same backbone organization apply?
Quatia Osorio (she/her) Our Journ3i
01:01:43
but it must be with a Hez correct?
Somava Saha, WE in the World/WIN Network
01:02:14
Yes, Quatia. There can be other CBOs involved as well
Pano Yeracaris
01:03:59
would a broader group of community partners strengthen the application?
Kristen Edward
01:04:21
Our AE has several FQHCs included (that are also parts of different HEZs) - does that mean only one grant will be awarded to that AE?
Somava Saha, WE in the World/WIN Network
01:04:43
Thank you, Susan. We will be organizing the webinars together and supporting the Rhode Island coaches in the next phase
Quatia Osorio (she/her) Our Journ3i
01:05:29
02904 has no HEZ
Kristen Edward
01:06:01
Quatia - Tri-County covers 02904 (North Providence) but there is some concern that no one covers 02904 (Providence).
Quatia Osorio (she/her) Our Journ3i
01:06:25
exactly where I am 02904 PVD
liz fortin
01:10:11
can you say more about the role of the AE/clinic? Previously it sounded like we needed AE leadership but today is sounds like it is a clinical delivery site who belongs to an AE
Susan Orban
01:11:18
Can that simply mean data support?
Susan Orban
01:11:31
from an AE that is?
Somava Saha, WE in the World/WIN Network
01:11:41
You definitely need both AE and clinical leadership to be involved
B. Dowlatshahi -Tri-County Community Action Agency
01:19:27
Our AE has six FQHC's, four of which are also a HEZ - all for different geographic areas. The AE can only fund two of the 6 FQHC's and its very possible all will apply.
Kristen Edward
01:22:13
I think it is important to reconsider restricting awards to only 2 per AE. I don't understand the reasoning behind this restriction.
Amy Katzen
01:23:07
Thank you Kristen, we will absolutely take this back and share any changes on the FAQ
smccaffrey
01:23:43
agreed, Kristen.
Susan Orban
01:24:48
In deciding which applications to fund, will you be looking to match projects with each CHT? Or for geographic representation? Or will it be limited by the assignments and capacities of AE's to support projects?
Seth Fritsch (he/him)
